CANCELLATION POLICY
These terms of service are designed to help our customers understand their responsibility and our services. These terms clarified and described our guarantee, exclusions, cancellations, and potential problems we strive to avoid if possible. With the help of our customer, these issues can be averted to ensure a successful service to you in your home. These Terms of Service define the responsibilities and liabilities of SWAN CLEAN and our customers.
By using this website to book a service, you agree to comply and to be bound by these terms & conditions. If you do not agree to these terms & conditions, please do not book any services.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
To reserve your cleaning date and time, a deposit of 50% of the total cleaning price will be applied at the end of the booking. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE but deductible toward the total cleaning price.
CANCELLATION PERIOD
Customers qualify for a complete refund in the event of a cancellation made 48 hours BEFORE the scheduled cleaning appointment. If the cancellation occurs within the timeframe of 48 to 24 hours before the appointment, the 50% deposit will be automatically transformed into a NON-REFUNDABLE cancellation fee. Additionally, a new deposit will be required for the next cleaning. If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the appointment, the FULL-SERVICE amount will be charged. It’s important to recognize that your booking affects the availability of other potential customers.
SERVICE REFUSAL POLICY
We reserve the right to decline or terminate services for reasons including safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, the presence of weapons on the premises, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities.
Our team has the option to leave if they encounter an extremely unsanitary condition or feel unsafe or threatened. In the event of an unreasonably booked cleaning, our technicians may refuse service on the spot, and a cancellation fee will be applied.
ADDS-ON CANCELLATION
Any additional services requested by regularly scheduled customers (e.g. fridge cleaning, oven cleaning, etc.) that are canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning, will be considered as same-day cancellation and will be charged the full amount. This policy applies even if the recurring cleaning service is maintained.
CLIENT-REQUESTED TO SHORTENING OF A CLEANING
If the cleaning is requested to be cut short by the client due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the initially agreed-upon cleaning service. We understand emergencies can arise, but this will be treated as a full booking.
LOCKOUTS
If we are unable to gain access to the house within 20 minutes of the scheduled arrival time of our cleaning team, the booking will be canceled. In such a case, this will be treated as a same-day cancellation, and the client will be charged the full amount of the cleaning service.
DISCREPANCY IN THE SELECTED CLEANLINESS LEVEL
As we commence the service, if our technician notices that the cleanliness level selected by the client does not reflect the scope of work needed, we will reach out to the client within the first 20 minutes to discuss a potential adjustment. If no response is received from the client within this 20-minute timeframe, or there’s not any agreement, the service will be canceled, and the client will be charged the full amount of the cleaning service.
NOT-FRIENDLY PETS
If the removal of our technicians is necessary due to not friendly or aggressive pets, the service will be canceled immediately. The full amount of the service will be charged.
GOVERNING LAW
Any claim relating to SWAN CLEAN website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We have taken every effort to design our website to be useful, informative, helpful and honest.
